Winning awards for our Nissan funded adventure doc.

The brief

To capture the Nissan X-Trail's adventurous spirit, we embarked on a Nepal road trip with mountaineer Matt Walker. We adapted his 'Five Elements of Adventure' for four contest winners, crafting physically and mentally challenging activities that embodied these principles - river rafting, downhill cycling, and climbing among them. We ran the whole production end to end to produce a stunning film inspiring viewers to embrace adventure - ideally in an X-Trail! Our documentary premiered at Piccadilly's Adventure Film Festival, aired on Eurosport 2 over three days, and was later released on Netflix.

Our campaign earned 2.9 million documentary trailer views, 6+ million social impressions, 581,000 engagements, and boosted Nissan's brand hub traffic. It also garnered organic PR coverage in key adventure and lifestyle publications. In the end, even we daring foxes became a little braver through this incredible journey.
