The brief

Samsung asked us to captivate young audiences with a groundbreaking "Launching People" TV series, offering dream-chasers the chance of mentorship from entertainment and music icons including Idris Elba, Paloma Faith, Rankin, and Gizzi Erskine.

We spearheaded the program, handling TV format development, commissioning, talent selection and contract negotiation, and full-scale production. This included crafting engaging social and online content to fuel competition entries to take part, and generate excitement for the TV series. With a 4-part series on Sky 1 on Sunday nights, the digital films, spanning 1-4 minutes, featured a series manifesto and individual mentor promos filmed in their natural habitats - music studio, photography studio, film studio, restaurant. These dynamic films, designed for YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, were launched on both influencer channels and Samsung's socials driving TV viewership.

The TV show garnered the attention of over 2 million homes, increasing brand uplift and cementing Samsung as the tech of the people.
